A federal judge temporarily blocked Changpeng Zhao, the founder of crypto exchange Binance, from leaving the U.S.A judge still needs to decide whether Zhao will be required to remain in the country to wait for sentencing for violating anti-money-laundering requirements. The sentencing is scheduled for late February.Zhao stepped down as chief executive of Binance last week after pleading guilty to one count in a Seattle federal court. He and his attorneys argued that he should be allowed to return to his residence in the United Arab Emirates. The government has opposed that, arguing Zhao could be a flight risk.
